Celebrating Success and Milestones
Our Annual Streetwise Coffee Franchisee Conference was held in Napier last week, marking a significant milestone as we celebrated 20 years of our franchise. The theme of this year's conference was 'Looking Out for Number One,' focusing on self-care and personal well-being alongside business excellence.
We were honoured to have Claire Turnbull, a renowned expert in health and wellness, as our guest speaker. Her insights on maintaining a healthy work-life balance were invaluable, setting a relaxed and engaging tone for the event. This year's conference provided more opportunities for franchisees to interact with each other, share experiences, and compare management styles.
Celebrating Excellence: Awards and Achievements
At the awards evening, we recognised the outstanding achievements of our franchisees across various categories:
Customer Service Award sponsored by Goodman Fielder was awarded to Blenheim Springlands. This accolade was received on behalf of Luke and Brooke Mullinger by Natalie Dette, highlighting their commitment to exceptional customer service.
Highest Field Support Visit Scores Award sponsored by Alpha NZ went to Kim Thomas, Andrea, and Jarrod Rider from Main Street, Palmerston North. Their dedication to maintaining high operational standards earned them this recognition.
Highest Percentage Growth Turnover Award sponsored by Ecoware was presented to Ketan and Priya from Whangarei. They achieved an impressive 22.5% growth in turnover, demonstrating their hard work and commitment to making great coffee every time and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction for the second year running.
Franchisee of the Year Award sponsored by Havana Coffee was awarded to David Gray of Tawa. Despite being a franchisee for only two years, David has set a high standard across all areas. His customer service quality, with excellent scores of 97% in mystery shops, and high operational standards have been exemplary. David has fully embraced the Streetwise culture, significantly enhancing the customer experience and contributing to the system throughout the year.
We also recognised Kenny and Helen from Porirua as they reached 15 years with Streetwise Coffee. Their long-term dedication and commitment have been invaluable to our community.
Honouring Luke
In a heartfelt moment, we acknowledged the tragic passing of Luke Mullinger with a moment of silence. Luke was the franchisee for our two Blenheim carts. Our thoughts and prayers go to his wife Brooke, their two children, family, friends, and customers.
A Strong Foundation for the Future
Streetwise Coffee continues to build on a foundation of quality, care, and commitment. We prioritise the success and well-being of our franchisees by providing comprehensive support, training, and ongoing guidance. Our collaborative environment fosters personal and professional growth, ensuring that our franchisees thrive.
A special thank you to our suppliers and sponsors, including Havana Coffee Works, Ecoware Food Packaging, Alpha NZ Technology Group, and Goodman Fielder, for their invaluable support in making the conference a resounding success.
Congratulations to all the award-winning franchisees! Your exceptional achievements are a true reflection of the spirit and values that drive Streetwise Coffee to be the best.
